Slalom Paddle athlete at OKC Whitewater Center

Slalom paddle

Fast. Technical. Unpredictable.

Slalom Paddle is one of the most exciting events in the Olympic Games. Athletes race through a whitewater course while navigating a series of upstream and downstream gates, testing speed, precision, and endurance. In 2028, the world's best paddlers will compete for Olympic medals right here in Oklahoma City.

A world-class venue

OKC Whitewater Center is a non-profit recreational and athletic training center for whitewater and rafting. It is an official U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site and hosts numerous national and international events, including the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the Paris 2024 Games. It offers a world-class athlete experience along with exciting fan energy close to OKC’s other Olympic venue, the Oklahoma Softball Park.
